Michael Hughes

Michael Hughes is Senior Vice President for Guardian Capital LP (GCLP).  He joined GCLP in 2014 in his current role.

Prior to GCLP, Michael spent four years at Trinity Street Asset Management, a global investment boutique, helping grow AUM from $300m to $1.8bn. Previous to this, he held various roles at of JPMorgan Asset Management including, until 2007, managing director with responsibility for product management of $72bn European equity fund assets, and prior to this, portfolio manager and product manager in the emerging market group of the firm.

Michael holds a joint honours degree in modern languages from the University of Bristol.
