Joel Elford

Joel Elford is a Data Scientist with Guardian Capital LP’s i³ Investments™ Team; he joined in 2022 to help enhance the team’s efforts in building effective and innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. Using his valuable experience gained in the AI domain as a Machine Learning Developer (AltaML), he supports the discovery of alpha through existing and new alternative datasets using cutting-edge AI techniques.

Joel received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and earned a master’s degree in mathematics and statistics from the University of Calgary.
