Alberto Seabra

Alberto Seabra is a Data Engineer with the i³ Investments™ team at Guardian Capital LP (Guardian Capital). He joined Guardian Capital in 2025 to develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) data integrations, ensuring the smooth operation between Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) workflows and databases.

A seasoned data scientist professional, Alberto gained his considerable experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering AI-powered analytics tools, most notably at consulting and technology engineering firm We Are Dragonfly in London, UK, where he managed product roadmaps, applied Agile methodologies, and optimized cloud infrastructure for scalability and cost efficiency. Previously, at Piccadilly Labs in Barcelona, Alberto designed and deployed ML/AI microservices, built real-time dashboards, and developed tools for bias detection and Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based document analysis.

Alberto received a Bachelor of Economics from Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal, and dual Master’s degrees in Big Data Solutions from Barcelona Technology School, Spain, and Internet of Things from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Spain.
