ANTHONY MESSINA, CPA, CA, CFA
President
Anthony Messina is the Head of Private Wealth, including the President of Guardian Partners and Managing Director for Guardian Capital Advisors LP. Previous roles at Guardian included President and CEO of Worldsource Securities and Worldsource Financial Management (2018-2021).

Prior to joining Guardian in 2016, he was instrumental in building and growing I3 Advisors, the predecessor to BNY Mellon Wealth Management Canada’s outsourced chief investment officer (OCIO) business. During his tenure as President, he served as a member of various global operating, pension, and investment strategy committees, and as director of the Canadian and Cayman Island businesses. Anthony began his career in the financial services industry at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). His business experience is broad and includes investment management, venture capital, business and operations management in private and public companies.

Anthony is a graduate of the Schulich School of Business, holds the Chartered Professional Accountant designation and is a CFA® Charterholder. He is active in numerous charities, including as a director of Villa Colombo Vaughan.
KIMBERLY HU, CFA
Vice President, Investment Counsellor
Kimberly Hu is Vice President, Investment Counsellor for Guardian Partners. She works directly with clients to address their investment and wealth management needs, assisting with portfolio strategy design and implementation, investment manager recommendations and continuous portfolio oversight. Previously, Kimberly served as Vice President, Investment Counsellor at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services (WMAS), a firm she joined in 2008 as an Investment Analyst prior to being promoted to Senior Investment Analyst and Associate Investment Counsellor. She became an Investment Counsellor in 2016. At WMAS, she also held responsibility for oversight and investment management of proprietary funds.

Kimberly has extensive experience working with institutional and high-net-worth clients in designing, recommending, proposing and implementing customized investment strategies and assisting with manager research. Kimberly received her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University. She is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
DENISA FARROW, CFA, MBA
Vice President, Investment Counsellor
Denisa Farrow is Vice President, Investment Counsellor for Guardian Partners. She works directly with clients to address their investment and wealth management needs, assisting with portfolio strategy design and implementation, investment manager recommendations and continuous portfolio oversight. Prior to this, Denisa held the same role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services, which she joined in 2012, and has over 20 years of industry and pension investment consulting experience.

In that time, her roles have been focused on developing and implementing investment strategies for institutional clients, including defined benefit and contribution pension plans, endowment funds and charitable organizations. Denisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Schulich School of Business, with a focus on investment finance. She is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
JAZ GILL
Chief Operating Officer
Jaz Gill is Chief Operating Officer for Guardian Partners, with more than 15 years of professional experience in the investment management industry. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for BNY Mellon Wealth Management, with oversight of the firm's operational and administrative support staff as well as its systems and processes. His extensive experience in client service roles has enabled him to follow a unique, client-centered approach to the operational side of the business. Jaz earned his Bachelor of Administration in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
RANDY GUNN, CFA, MBA
Client Strategist
Randy Gunn is Client Strategist for Guardian Partners, previously holding the same role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services, which he joined in 2016. He works closely with individuals, families and organizations to identify how Guardian Partners’ investment and wealth management capabilities can help them reach their overall financial goals. He brings over 15 years of financial services experience attained at Connor Clark & Lunn Private Capital, Scotia Asset Management and Citigroup.

As a long-standing member of the CFA Society Toronto’s Private Client Committee, Randy takes a dedicated approach to identifying these clients’ financial requirements and implementing integrated wealth management solutions. He earned a Bachelor of International Business degree from Brock University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Windsor. In addition, Randy is a CFA® Charterholder.
CAMERON RICHARDS, CFA, MBA
Head of Research
Cameron Richards leads the Strategies and Solutions Group at Guardian Partners as Head of Research, and is responsible for adding depth and breadth to GPI’s research process. Previously, he served as CIO of the Nova Scotia Health Employees' Pension Plan, and was the Head of Real Assets at Albourne Partners in London, England. He also served as the Co-Chief Investment Officer of University of Toronto Asset Management (UTAM), and Chair of the Investment Committee for the entirety of the university’s investment assets. Prior to joining Guardian Partners, he founded Isengard Capital Management, a research-driven firm reviewing over 900 managers around the world.

Cameron is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Queen’s University, earned an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a CFA® Charterholder.
ERROL KUSZNER, CFA
Vice President, Investment Counsellor
Errol Kuszner is a Vice President, Investment Counsellor for Guardian Partners, where he works with high-net-worth families and institutional clients, focusing on their sophisticated investment needs. His area of specialty lies in working with family structures, pension plans, foundations, endowments and corporate accounts. Previously, Errol was in the same position at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services (WMAS), where he held direct oversight responsibilities for the firm’s Investment Analysis Team and was involved with senior teams associated with pooled fund advisory, portfolio construction and client engagement. He joined WMAS in 2016 as an Investment Counsellor working with high-net-worth and institutional clients.

Over the past 18 years, Errol has held multiple senior positions focused in the areas of institutional and private wealth management, including four years at Fidelity Investments as Director of Consultant Relations and seven years at Jarislowsky Fraser as an Assistant Portfolio Manager working with prominent Canadian families and institutions. Errol received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Guelph, with specializations in Economics and Finance. He is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
ANDREW NONIS, CFA
Director, Investment Management
Andrew Nonis is Director, Investment Management for Guardian Partners. In this role, Andrew leverages his over 10 years of professional experience in the investment management industry to bring the highest-quality investment thinking, solutions and strategies forward to clients. Prior to joining Guardian, Andrew held a similar role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services (WMAS), as a Portfolio Management Strategist.

Upon joining WMAS, Andrew was a Research Analyst within the Manager Research Team and, prior to becoming a Portfolio Management Strategist, was a Senior Investment Analyst working alongside the firm’s Investment Counsellors in designing, recommending and implementing customized investment strategies for institutional and high-net-worth clients. Andrew received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Ryerson University, with a specialization in Finance. He is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society.
INGRID RIDOUT
Client Strategist
Ingrid Ridout is a Client Strategist for Guardian Partners, where she works closely with individuals and families who have upcoming liquidity events to identify how Guardian’s services and capabilities can help pre- and post-transaction. Prior to this, she held the same role at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services, which she joined in 2018.

Additionally, Ingrid specializes in serving individuals that have portfolios with highly concentrated positions, liquidity issues and excessive portfolio risk due to lack of diversification. Ingrid’s experience covers global family offices, ultra-high-net-worth clients, private equity firms, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to joining the firm, Ingrid worked in investment banking on the sales and coverage side, with a focus on International Mining and Oil & Gas. She graduated from Babson College with a double major in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies, and attended graduate school at the London School of Economics.
JOSEPHINE TSE, CFA, CPA, MBA
Vice President, Manager Research
Josephine Tse is Vice President, Manager Research for Guardian Partners. Before joining Guardian, Josephine held the same role and was a member of the Global Manager Research team for BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services. Prior to this, she served as a Portfolio Manager within the Public Equities department with the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she held progressively more senior positions in her 17-year tenure with the company. In this role, Josephine developed and managed a successful multi-billion-dollar program of global and emerging market equity managers. She was responsible for manager search, selection and in-depth investment due diligence.

Josephine has a Master of Business Administration degree from York University, and is a CFA® Charterholder and a member of the Toronto CFA Society. Josephine is also a Certificated Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
